Cottons Bar — Restaurant in Scotland

We visited this pub with scepticism. They advertised a 3 couse lunch for £5.00. Ok, We thought, we'll give it a whirl. We thought that it would be cheap, frozen food. How wrong we were. My husband and I both had the homemade lentil soup. I had a cheese omelette with chips, veg etc. My husband had Haddock Tartar. We both had the Meringue Glace for dessert which had fresh strawberries. The total bill was £10.00. The value for money was tremendous. The lady that served us couldn't have been nicer. An update to my last post, the chef in Cotton's has now changed but I'm afraid not for the better, there are some slight changes to the menu but like everything else at the moment the prices have increased.
