Sent in family member who is autistic and made the simple request if he could have a 3 tub but in 3 seperate tubs as he is freaked out about flavours touching, now 3 scoops in 1 tub is £2 cheaper than his genuine request. The young girl behind the counter was like ok I can ask (lucas at Morningside always cater for this request) elena herself came over and was like what's the problem? He explained the situation only to get well no, and this is how we sell it end off basically. My husband mentioned lucas (her main rivals) do it and she was like, well that's lucas go there, hardly the expectations you expect from the family fun business.

He only wanted one spoon but 3 different flavours as anyone who knows about people with disabilities food touching is a big thing.

So sad as this was his favourite place for ice cream and we used to travel over 10 miles each way to get this ice cream, however the way she made my husband feel was disgusting.

But no doubt, judged him, and didnt care about hidden disabilities. Would have cost her a mere 5-10p for a extra cardboard cup, but instead lost business from a loyal customer, and will be informing our other loyal friends to avoid....

I used to live in Musselburgh nearly ten years ago and used to go here all the time. Now every time I'm in the area I make sure I pop in for an ice cream, regardless of the weather or season. The standard of produce remains at a very high standard. I cannot praise it highly enough! The ice cream is delicious and the hand made chocolates are beautiful. You can even get them boxed in lovely gift boxes. They make lovely presents and a wonderful change from the usual high street manufacturers. Its a small shop but I think it adds to the charm, the staff are always friendly and it smells...

We visited today after searching for Ice-cream parlours that were open after 5pm, and have to say this was a brilliant find. The staff were so friendly and helpful; and even offered a sample to help make up our minds to which ice-cream we wanted (there were a lot of flavours to pick from). The shop was very clean and tidy and the ice-creams looked perfectly presented. They also had rows of ‘old fashioned’ sweets; again all well presented and looking delicious.
