Been 3 or 4 times in the last few years. Will need to find out where is actually decent in Aviemore for brekkie. Limited menu, unenthusiastic staff who leave you standing at the till whilst they chat amongst themselves. No instructions on where to find the condiments, no smiles, the waiter wore an earbud whilst serving my food... had to wait a while for my drinks after that (staff must have been busy chatting)

I ordered the Avocado Toast with bacon and black pudding. The toasted bloomer was hard to cut, the bacon succeeded in being both overcooked and cold, the black pudding and Avocado where ok. The tiny portion of cous cous and crisps on the side where pointless.

Maybe if the customer paid after the meal the staff might be motivated to be more friendly and helpful if a possible tip was on the horizon?

Great shop underneath though and good view of the Cairngorm mountains which brought...

Arrived at the cafe, we were given menus and left to choose our own seats. We sat down, chose our meals then sat for 15 minutes with our menus closed on the table, trying to catch the gaze of one of the 5 people, standing behind the counter, doing what appeared to be not much. No one ever came to take our order so we left..rubbish. I would be amazed if anyone even noticed we were gone!! We went to a cafe in the next town and spent our money there..served promptly and politely. If you are supposed to order at the counter this should have been made clear, I would have been surprised if this was the case though, as we were sent to our tables then someone came over with the menus, given the distinct impression that we would be served there. Lost business due to lack of...

Our experience was awful! Slow to seat us and bring our menus. They took the order of another table that arrived at least 10 mins after us 1st. Teapot lid was broken and couldn't get the teabag in as would not come off. After over a 30 min wait our food began to come out. The fries were in a tarnished and dirty metal pot. The soup my wife ordered never arrived but her bread did. Staff were just chatting behind the counter so no intention of bringing the missing food. Waited 5 more minutes. Could not get staff attention at our table. Had to approach check out at which point I was so angry said we were leaving and not paying. Cafe was quiet, when everywhere else busy, should have...

A bit hidden up stairs in tiso, but worth hunting down. Good and well priced coffee, with a fantastic view out to Cairngorm wasenough to convince me to return later for lunch. The food was fantastic, but be warned, big potions, evenwith a big appetite from a run I found the burger hard to finish! All of the party enjoyed there food. There is a small, but more than adequate soft area that the kids enjoyed while waiting for there food, and again after while we finished off. Great food and drink and friendly staff, could not ask for more. Possibly a new favourite in Aviemore😁

First things first. Directions. It took me a while looking for this cafe, not knowing that it's inside the Tiso store. It's on the first floor of the said store. It's got a nice view and notncorowded even on peak hours. They've also got some coffee equipment (i.e. aeropress, wacaco, tumblers, etc.) if you're a fan of that They got a wide variety of food and have options for vegans. I had the iced mocha for the hot summer and the bacon and brie toastie. This is overall a nice place to chill, especially when you're waiting for your bus. Oh and they got free wifi as well

First time here since new seating layout and very impressed. Food was excellent but table was covered in crumbs from a previous occupant which was hard to see until we sat down. Lots of staff but no one noticed we had finished our food and had to go up to ask for cakes and coffee....then yhe server came over and took our order but did not clear the table....and they weren't busy!!! Love the food and staff very friendly but need to get their act together. The cherry and pistachio cake was out of this world!!!
