The Teapot — Restaurant in Scotland

I went in to this cafe today with my brother, fiance , neice age 3 and my nephew who is 10 months. I have never been in the cafe before but it looked cosy and nice we had an appointment just down from the shop but we were early so decided to pop in. I wish I hadnt bothered I never felt welcome. My neice was all excited she seen some sweets the menu go brought over with no chat no offer of drinks my neice was at the counter just looking to see what was going on and there was no hello or anything to her it was just a look. Visited this establishment for the very first time at 09.30am, to be told they do not serve breakfasts until 10.00. Not a good start, but why open your premises if you are not able or willing to trade. The breakfast was first class, but the person taking the cash, had an unfriendly attitude. Will I go back? maybe, will I recommend it?...

This is the Penny Whistle ( Not the Tea Pot ) Lovely owner run cafe. We had bespoke tuna ( no mayo ) sandwich. Really nice coffee and pot of tea. Prices are very good. Staff are all friendly. Clean off site toilet. One of my favourite places. Only complaint, Could do...
