Very disappointed and won’t be back. Was looking forward to trying this place for ages because I had heard such great reviews. It is lovely and cosy inside but food lets it down. Had the small breakfast and it was inedible. Egg burnt to a crisp and sausage burnt on the outside and cold in the middle. I would never have served that to someone. Not very friendly service either. No check back after food was served and no question as to why a full plate of food was left. Went to speak when plate was lifted to point out why it wasn’t eaten but waitress walked away.

Came here today with my husband and got a matcha and some food. Barista was lovely (Anna I think her name was?) Food was really good and there are loads of vegetarian and vegan options which is great to see in Paisley. I really enjoyed the vibe of this wee cafe and I think it would be great to come in and chill with a book and a coffee. I was offered a cake but I was too full, I'll definitely grab one on my next visit.

The food here was very nice, with a lot of great vegan options! I tried the vegan brunch and the exotic smoothie - both were delicious. One suggestion would be to offer more vegan desserts and just more vegan choices in general, but overall it was a great experience. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, and the service didn’t take too long. I definitely wouldn’t mind going back!

Had all day breakfast here as we were impressed with the Reuben sandwich previously. It’s subjective but the full breakfast was so small and sparse that I can’t imagine the size of the light breakfast. Furthermore, the egg white was burned. Service was slow to come take our order. Slow to bring our drinks and then it took 10 minutes to process payment while standing waiting at the till alone as they went about their business and apparently ‘forgot’. I asked if I could use the bathroom and was directed to the business across the street which had apparently agreed to let Food 46 customers use theirs. I was scolded by the owner of that business who said there is no such agreement and that it’s ‘utterly ridiculous’ they send their customers here to use their toilet. This ruined the entire experience and I won’t likely be coming back. You can’t offer dine-in without a bathroom in 2024. Food Forty Six should then stick to takeaways...

Small but bijou maybe describes this place. Hessian sacks on the ceiling is the first thing I noticed. Very tight for space inside - but more seating is available outside. We chose a kinda cramped window seat indoors, enabling us to look out the window - at people, traffic and the dustbins across the road LOL ! Food was brilliant though. Nicely done poached eggs and more, all presented beautifully on small, decorated plates and just the right amount of eating on each. We both had tea, which was fine - although we both wondered if heating the cups beforehand might have kept the tea hotter for longer. All really nice - and I would go back. It is not the cheapest eaterie in Paisley - but, certainly, one of...

I di ed here for the first time on Saturday, nice wee place to eat with variety of dishes. We all got burgers with chips & the burgers were good.

Only thing I would say is that on the menu the burgers come with different types of fries depending on the one you choose, but all were served with what looked like the paprika fries. I ordered the Mac burger which should have come with "seasoned fries" (which I assumed salt & pepper) I didn't eat the fries as I have an allergy to paprika, but I wasn't bothered as I was stuffed after the burger anyway so never mentioned it & they were very busy. The menu has various types of fries as sides seasoned, paprika and a...
