Wonderful little cafe, busy but the service team was amazing and totally kept on top of orders with the efficiency of a well oiled machine. Food was just superb, highlights were hash browns being crunchy packets of fluffy potato, & the black pudding was top restaurant quality cooked to perfection. Best breakfast I’ve had in a very very long time, and not by a small margin. I’ll definitely be coming back, just to check it’s not a one-off! 11/10 - would recommend

First time here, every other cafe stopped serving hot food at 4pm😒 Loved that lime light still offered a full menu after 4pm. Food was lovely I had soup & sandwhich! The girls work hard & will defo be back again. I liked the variety of different soups. ❤️❤️❤️

Such a lovely cafe. The staff are great. They are so friendly and the food is fantastic. As you can see I am slightly addicted to their milkshakes. Xx

Would not recommend this place, I ordered a steak pie - which is actually a cheap stew and gravy pie, but on their menu it states “steak pie”. Tried to get my knife through the pie and the pie near enough slid off the plate - it was brick solid at the bottom, microwaved for far too long! Complained and made a fresh one. They had the cheek to give me a steak knife to cut through it. There was about 3 bits of stew in the “steak and gravy pie” which prices at nearly £9! They also have “steak pie” under their home made meals on their menu nothing homemade about it.

Also ordered a sweet chilli chicken and cheese panini. It comes on a ciabatta bread and not your original panini bread - which resulted in heat not getting through to the middle, as ciabatta bread is a lot thicker than your ordinary panini bread. If that isn’t bad enough.

One of the workers with black hair was behind the counter stuffing her face, then she continued to sook 3 of her fingers, didn’t wash her hands and continued to touch customers food. We thought we caught them on a bad day until the table next to us complained. They stated that their fish and chips was disgusting! There was a slight heat within the fish, they also says that this place has went down hill drastically.

Customer service is absolutely shocking I think trading standards needs a phone call. Paid £29 for a load of rubbish will never step foot in this...

Got a table and ordered fairly quickly but it took half an hour for our drinks to be brought over, when the waitress did bring them over she said our receipt was lost down the back of the till and apologised. No problem with that as mistakes happen and she was very apologetic and nice. Food came and was nice but we sat with finished plates in front of us for a long time and had wanted to order a couple of cakes. Staff were present but were either cleaning and it came across like they'd rather avoid serving. I decided to go over to the till and ask and the waitress ignored me and walked away, her colleague who was cooking had to call over to ask her to serve us. Her attitude towards us was rude and abrupt and she dumped the plates down infront of us loudly and didnt say a word. We were made to feel like an inconvenience when we had been polite and friendly throughout. Just really disappointing for our first experience here as we always walk by and see it busy so thought it would be very good. I just wanted to take my partner in for some lunch to cheer us up after a long week at work and this was just a really negative experience unfortunately. The only saving grace was the nice woman cooking and taking payments and the young girl who served...

My husband and I have attended twice. Both times we received amazing survice and have adored the atmosphere. You can tell the staff genuinely care for their customers and one another. The food has been lovely. The only constructive criticism is that both times I ordered the soup, chicken and rice and then broccoli and Stilton. Both times the soup has been overpowered by salt, above and beyond the soups natural salt from the cheese. It'd be lovely to reduce the salt and have it so customers can add a little if their palet requires. The second time I will state I was offered another soup option which was so thoughtful, however I denied as I believe most their soups would be salty. Will be returning as such a joy. And a lil salt never...
