I seldom find a restaurant that I would be happy to return the next day for another meal but seems I have now. From the informal and hospitable hosts (owners) to the pleasant surroundings, friendly service and fantastic food, this is a true gem of a place. We ate from the fixed Xmas menu which was still available and very reasonably priced and also had option of additional dishes of the day included. All dishes were fantastic and not one complaint or disapproving comment from any of my family. Good wines were recommended and chatted about with the owner. Desserts were also very good. Can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to visit again soon. Try it, Italian-Scottish contemporary food at its very best.

What a delight to eat at this beautiful restaurant. My husband and I turned up without reservations today after a tough morning following a bereavement to try and take our minds off our sadness. The restaurant owner pulled out all the stops to find us a table, and his kind and friendly manner instantly lifted our spirits. The food was the best we have ever eaten, the staff were so attentive and clearly very happy in their work, and the other customers were obviously in their happy places too. Incredible dining experience in a truly welcoming place full of joy, and heart, and hope. Thank you so much x

This is a great family Italian restaurant business. Second visit here, I was seeing family. I had the special steak linguine for main, pate to start, & ice cream to finish; three of us with a bottle of wine, and round of beers cost with tip £180. It’s not cheap even by Oxford prices, however every bite was good. Made fresh, cooked excellently and service very friendly. It keeps winning awards for a reason. Highly recommended

Twenty One isn't just a restaurant; it's a haven of friendly faces and phenomenal food. From the moment you step in, the staff envelop you in their warmth. They're not just servers, they're conversationalists, genuinely interested in making your experience special. My family and I have been regulars for a while now, and it's like entering a familiar embrace every time.

But the charm goes beyond the staff. The food? It's a symphony of flavors, a testament to culinary passion. We've never had a bad dish here. Each bite is a surprise, a delightful dance of textures and tastes. Whether it's the melt-in-your-mouth steak, the vibrant pasta bursting with fresh herbs, or the decadent desserts that make your eyes roll back in pure bliss, Twenty One consistently delivers culinary magic.

And let's not forget the little ones. The staff has a knack for making kids feel welcome and entertained. Whether it's colouring pages or a friendly chat, they make sure everyone is having a good time. It's truly a place where you can relax, knowing your kids are happy and well-cared for.

So, if you're looking for a restaurant that goes beyond the ordinary, look no further than Twenty One. It's a place where warmth meets deliciousness, where memories are made with every bite. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a taste of culinary heaven and a generous helping of...

I was here as part of a large family group of 20 to celebrate my brother-in-law's birthday. I had never been before, but will definitely be back. The Italian restaurant is a small family run business. They were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was pleasantly warm - I cannot bear to eat beside extractor fans blowing cold air at me - and so comfortable. We had a lunchtime menu, so I cannot comment on the full availability, however, our choice was very good. There were two vegetarians in the group, and there were at least two mains options for them. In fact, I chose the mushroom risotto, and it was lovely. The food was delicious, there were no complaints at all. After the obligatory birthday song, the cake was cut up and served happily. Altogether, I would thoroughly recommend Twenty One for a quiet meal, or a larger celebration. There is a public car park just beside...

What a lovely little place this is. We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening. The staff were great, really friendly and helpful and the place was spotless. The food was amazing! The lasagne was like magic in my mouth! Like no lasagne I've ever tasted before, I don't know what the secret ingredient is! The calamari starter was delicious too, as was the prawn bruschetta. The set menu was excellent value for money with a bottle of house wine included per couple. Unfortunately we didn't get our wine as I was driving and my husband is unable to drink just now. Its a shame we couldn't take it home to enjoy as they don't have an off license. That won't stop me giving 5 stars though for a beautiful meal and great service! They also offer a-la-carte and...
