Time Deli — Restaurant in Scotland

Myself and partner thought we would try this as were in Hamilton, my partner had a breakfast, the fried egg was overcooked and brown and crispy at edges of the egg white, asked to return it for another, egg came and the yolk was shaking like and looked like a jelly (raw) normally i would review giving the benefit of doubt, however I can't do that on this occasion for the reason that when we first went in the owner was very nice to us, lovely service to begin with, such a shame that she didn't want to see what we both could re the egg, We again asked if it could be cooked more, it came back again looking no different, stressed and frustrated at the fact my partner wanted an egg that was neither burnt nor almost raw yolk......the owner came over asking "what is wrong, what is it you want" partner told owner not burnt or raw yolk, owner huffed and puffed away with it and came back with another fried egg, " Is this ok?? And looking at me, not my fried egg as owner was plainly aware of, anyway it was edible, i had brown sourdough toast, too crispy, microwaved scrambled egg, wish I'd known, bacon was nice, we also took away 2 cakes so for 2 people for breakfast etc a fair amount of money spent, as its not fair to middling in price, i wouldn't have minded about the errors with the fried egg up to a point if the owner had admitted the errors and rectified, such a shame and...

We love coming here. Food is lovely depending on who cooks it. Sometimes it's lovely, other times its never seasoned and bland. Really enjoy the coffee tho my favourite place for coffee and rhe cakes. And the staff are so kind. It is quite pricey however. Only disappointment has been that two Sundays in a row we've been and its unexpectedly closed. We understand these things happen, however it's still advertised as open online. We went today and it said it opens at 11am on the door. We were early so waited around for an hour, went round the shops etc. Came back just before 11am for a sign on the door again saying it wouldn't be open but staff were inside. Would be okay if they had put the notice up earlier rather than right before they're meant to open as we had waited around thinking it was opening as normal as there was no notice this time. We then missed breakfast everywhere else as all stops at 11am. Disappointing sadly. Guess just won't be able to go on a...

We found this place by accident. We didn't know it existed. We had walked past & thought well we will go check it out. The fact they had gluten free & dairy free food & drinks is an absolute win. It can be hard to find good food & although I only ordered soup it was absolutely delicious. I am used to ordering black decaff coffee when out but couldn't believe they had coconut milk, almond milk & soya milk for me to choose from for my coffee. Thank you very much & I will most...
