Lindy's Café — Restaurant in Scotland

Prices online (justeat) dont reflect actual prices. Phoned for takeaway order to avoid justeat fees and it was nearly £5 more expensive than price on justeat. I had high expectations for the main meals as their posts on facebook pages showed really nice food and generous portions which was far from what I got. Got a lasagne and chips. Lasagne was really dry with no sauce and chips were overcooked. Macaroni cheese and chips the Macaroni cheese was 1/3 of the box full that had about 10-15 bits of macaroni in it and for £7 it was terrible portion size. Finally the steak pie which they showed on facebook where there was lots of steak and a piece of pastry on top ended up being 2 bits of pastry with just a few bits of steak and lots of sauce. The gravy was really tasty though pity about the portion size. Totally not worth it. Apologies for the negative opinion, I do get that sometimes photos are for illustrative purposes only but the the posts on fb are of your "takeaway" orders" hence our expectations. 2nd time I've tried this place, 1st time no complaints but this morning I ordered through just eat and thumbs up for delivery time, says it would be between 45-60 mns but arrived in 30 mns.
