Masonic Arms — Restaurant in Scotland

Very nice lady to start with took us 13 hours to deep clean the pub for her as it has been shut for 3 years it was very bad. She was happy enough when explained about price at hourly rate then she paid by cheque unknown to myself my business account doesn't expect cheque's so had to go back and ask to put it into my own name which then she refused to pay the full amount that she put on the first cheque then turned around and said she was only paying half told us all we did was go about with a hoover the place was so disgusting she was very rude and nasty. Avoid this place...

Poor Service. Was looking forward to visiting this pub. Upon arriving the woman bartender behind the bar greeted us with ‘no dogs today’. I asked, today what about any other day? “She said maybe, I’m not in the mood for dogs today”. Strange customer service. Bartender was obviously drunk, bad service and not dog friendly. Probably best spend your money where you are welcomed. 0...

My grandmother and I had some time to kill waiting for the bus. Came in here and I loved it! Lovely old pub that probably hasn't changed for decades. I am sad I won't be able to return soon as I'm only visiting here. I would have loved to see this pub on a more busy night, But I will be back! Thanks for the friendly welcome and the crisp pint...
