This is a family run restaurant in a renovated railway station which is more akin to a georgian house. The staff and proprietor are very attentive. The menu is extensive and boasts daily fresh homemade pasta. The quality of cooked food is very high and very tasty. We had starters, mains as pasta and a shared homemade tiramisu because by then we were quite full. There were a couple of things that let the overall food down and could be rectified with a minimal amount of effort. One of the starters were served with cheap thin sliced bread toasted and soggy. The other starter was not served with bread. We requested bread, and had lovely fresh crusty bread served as a charged extra. The owner rectified the bad bread situation by refunding the starter. This was a generous remedy but the situation was so easily averted. He told us he had had complaints when cooking their own bread, that it was too crusty for the ladies?? The other let down was homemade tiramisu with SQUIRTY CREAM. No no no no never!!! It is obvious from the periferal items such as butter sugar etc that Bookers Cash and Carry features heavily. For a good class restaurant, cafe level condiments are not acceptible. Overall a very enjoyable evenìng. One day if we are in the town we will return.

Probably the most unauthentic Italian in the world. All the photographs on the 'wall of fame' are either fake or the people in them are a shocking judge of good authentic cuisine. It did not begin well with the awful unfriendly false Italian accented waiter. The food was between very poor and average at best. The overall experience was very far from value for money and if there was a genuine Italian in this establishment they escaped us. We will never return and could never recommend this establishment.

Doesn't look much from the outside on a dark night but amazing once you walk through the door. You're warmly greeted by staff and ushered passed the open kitchen and wee bar through to beautifully decorated dining area. Heaps of choice on the menu and a few specials of the day. We opted for pizza and pasta special. Both were absolutely delicious. Big glasses of cold Peroni on tap and Italian merlot washed the food down nicely. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely will be back again.

The food in this restaurant is outstanding, my only regret is the service is not to the same standard. Perhaps it a personal pet hate and I don't expect staff to be at my side all the time. However you should never have to stand from your table after 30 minutes of waiting for a member of staff to enter the room you are sitting in. Even worse is to have to stand once again to actually pay the bill. A very nice restaurant, with excellent food, let down by the floor staff. The owner was present all night and I would make the statement "as the staff were making themselves busy attending to everything but the customers he was happy". I am not and have never being a demanding customer, but I do have a problem with poor...

Its the little things that make the difference. Unfortunately this misses them all.

No complaints about the food to be fair.

However, when we had a starter, that would normally come with bread, to have to order bread separately was a shame. And then to receive only 3 slices (when there was 4 of us) was a little annoying. And the to receive them in a paper bag plonked on the table with butter in plastic tubs was again...a little disappointing.

As I say, the food was fine. However, the service was at best average, and that took away from the overall experience.

This restaurant could be great. It needs to concentrate on the little things. Currently, it has a...
