Myself and my friend went to Nandos's Falkirk for dinner on 3/4/22 and had a very unpleasant experience right from the start.
When entering the restaurant we were refused entry due to having no masks (which we understand) as we had just simply forgotten to bring them. After purchasing masks from a nearby shop and returning to the restaurant we were seated to then see that around 5 or 6 staff members who were in the kitchen we're wearing their masks below their chin for the entirety of our visit.
Additional to this, we watched multiple large groups enter the restaurant without masks and had been given seats. We are fully understanding of the mask requirements however if you're asking one person to wear a mask then surely you must ask all customers entering the building to also do so as well as your own staff who are cooking our food.
Not only are the staff handling my food, but we were asked to find masks for a 2 second journey from the door to our table where we were able to take them off anyway and received table service the entire time so what was the purpose of refusing us for the sake of having a mask on for seconds?
Lastly, when ordering our food we both ordered separate however placed our orders at the same time. I received my meal whilst my friend waited an additional 15 minutes to receive her food. So what was planned to be a meal together ended up with us eating at complete separate times. I have worked in fast food restaurants who deliver table service and from experience we were always advised to prepare all the food for one table at the same time so that this would not happen.

Very quiet and not particularly clean looking. My Son ordered us chicken breasts with mash and coleslaw with bbq dip and a chicken wrap with chips and garlic bread. Decided after payment we wanted pitta triangles with garlic mayo dip and add an extra portion of garlic bread to order. Waited ages. Eventually our chicken order came out but waitress took it to another table where she showed it and spoke to them then realised it our order. Concerned as those people were talking over our meals. Not very hygienic! Waited and waited on pitta triangles with garlic mayo and extra garlic bread. I had to eventually go ask where it was. After trying to get someone's attention they finally answered me and brought it out. Also stated no bbq dip. Why not tell us that when ordered and paid. Garlic bread was hard and greasy. Chicken was ok but skin very chewy,not crispy. Mash had hard bits. Also wasn't piping hot either. Service was absolutely shocking. Nandos has gone downhill big time. Read moreThis nandos location is extremely close by to parking and very accessible to get to the door, but the doors are not automatic and so if you struggle with this keep that in mind. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has that perfect nandos atmosphere where there's quite a few customers. You save the choice of booth or table There's a large choice of foods, many of which can be customised to your request. The staff are very friendly and attentative but not over bearing. The food has always been delicious and well presented in my experiences. I enjoy the slight changes to the menu every now and then as there has always been something I enjoyed. The lost star in this review comes from one area, the resturants interior design is very appealing and unique to other places, but at the back of this restaurant there is a area that looks like its extremely difficult to clean and is very dusty, it's near the ceiling of the restaurant so I 100% understand why this is the case and genuinely think this is something the staff cannot feasably clean, wish I could have only taken off half a star but I don't seem to be able to on the mobile app...
