Was given a gift voucher for here last year which we thought we better use up, on checking it stated only 6 months validity. I thought it was likely over 6 months however the date had been left blank. I rung up to find out the date and ask if any way we could extend. I presume the owner or manager answered the call, he was rather arrogant and abrupt. Checked the date and it was over a year, so that was that he said, hard luck basically. I told him I feel it is really not right for places to take money from people for vouchers then not fulfil the purchase. Perhaps years later but just over a year later is ridiculous. Ireland actually has a law which prevents gift vouchers from expiring for 5 years. He made no apologies however, then hung up on me. Perhaps if the gentleman had been in any way apologetic or remotely sympathetic, I would not have been so offended. He could have even said, ok you can use half or something, any kind of good will gesture would have been appreciated. Especially in light of the fact I could have filled in any date I liked and simply gone ahead and used it. However honesty doesn’t get you very far with the dishonest. I actually have eaten there before a handful of times and for the purposes of giving a proper review I would add the place is ok, just the usual average Italian, nothing exciting or memorable. Perhaps this is why we didn’t rush to use the voucher. I definitely would not recommend buying a gift voucher - treat the recipient to somewhere a bit more...

I actually think one star is generous.

I dont actually know where to start with this review its by far the worst takeaway i have ever had along with the worst "bruschetta" i have ever had the experience of putting in my mouth.

They could not even get the delivery correct forgot our garlic bread and instead of bruschetta i got toast on pate after phoning up they sent out my bruschetta and garlic bread.

The bruschetta was what i can only describe as stale tomatoes that were clearly not fresh and sitting in a bath of olive oil the tub it came in was swimming with greasy olive oil the bread was one of they 50p loafs out of tesco i think clearly not made fresh or even homemade atall i make nicer bread in my breadmaker, the bread was about as appetising as eating the cardboard my pizza arrived in.

My girlfriend also got spaghetti carbonara save yourself the money and just get the tray out of marks and spencer it was 100x better than what ever they tried to cook worst carbonara i have ever tasted also no taste atall and bland.

I think the best part of our meal was the nutella chocolate with our fried donut dessert.

I would avoid this place like the plague we paid near £53 for something i could have made for £15 in my kitchen.

I am now sitting with the taste of a barrel of olive oil in my mouth £53 lighter and half my meal sitting in greasy tubs in the kitchen i have tried to phone the restraunt to ask if stevie wonder was the chef tonight but i cannot get them...

Lovely fresh italian vegetarian selection

We tried this place for takeaway on recommendation from my local vegan friend, because we'd been eating too much meat lately and wanted a change. Excellent suggestion, as we were able to get some great tasting italian food. Obviously with us having takeaway it wasn't eaten as fresh out the kitchen as it could have been, but even still it was a real treat.

Bruschetta, 8/10, perfectly balanced mix of salt oil and basil on fresh juicy tomatoes. They thoughtfully packed the bread separately from the tomatoes, so it wasn't soggy by the time we ate it.

Mushroom fritti, 6/10, these were OK, but felt they were a bit plain, lacking the something extra to make them more interesting.

Fusili paesana, 7/10, decent pasta dish, nice mix of vegetables, but the tomato sauce was a bit too basic to really make this dish stand out.

Asparagus, 8/10 perfectly tender for the most part, good balance of simple seasoning, letting the natural flavour of the vegetable shine. At only £4 for this side dish, it was a real bargain too.

Profiteroles, 7/10, plenty of cream and plenty of chocolate sauce, these were a great end to the meal.

Overall, we found the food here to be simple, yet satisfying. There was nothing that really stood out as exceptional, but it was certainly better than just OK. Worth a second...

Absolute beautiful, rustic, and yet modern Italian cuisine in the heart of Falkirk. I find it Something of a hidden gem amidst all the fast food options. Wonderful attentive staff who want to make your experience both enjoyable and memorable. Perfect ambience-warm lighting that is neither harsh nor overwhelming. Amazing food of course: No cutting corners here. All ingredients are fresh and it shows. There is Such a lovely atmosphere at all times and very chilled music of a gentle, familiar feeling. Nobody Is having a bad time and there is always a gentle bustle about the place. I always enjoy my food from here irrespective of how I get it - I knew sitting in would be lovely , just didn’t know it would be so heart warming an evening for myself. I didn’t want to leave. I can imagine it would be beautiful to go with friends, family: I know my partner would love this place and I will bring him one day. I come once a year whilst on modelling business but plan to be visiting as often I can. Thanks “Jasmina”

My first time here visiting the other half's family as we are now in England. Service was fantastic. Very welcoming. Restaurant was very busy. Staff were busy and very smart. Food was lovely. The calamari was amongst some of the best I have tasted. The pizzas looked a little dry but they were eaten and enjoyed. Gluten free option available on the pizzas as my sister in law (nearly) is gluten intolerant. My main was fantastic. Smoked salmon and king prawn gamberoni I think it was called. The carbonara looked delicious too. Pudding was only eaten by one of our party which was a mango 🥭 sorbet which looked delicious. Would definitely go again. Definitely recommend 👌
