Okome Clarkston — Restaurant in Scotland

I placed an Ubereats order for bubble tea from okome clarkston as I knew they served hitea which I’ve had many times before and is one of my favourite places for bubble tea. However this experience has been horrible, I ordered 2 milk teas and 1 fruit tea. The fruit tea was good and was as expected but the milk teas were horrible, the tea itself was alright but the tapioca pearls were a mix between hard (which they aren’t meant to be) and some chewy as they normally are. We left the teas in the fridge as they arrived lukewarm and decided to drink them after they cooled a bit and because of this when we did drink them their ubereats page had closed. As someone who frequently visits and orders from hitea for bubble tea I was very disappointed. I’ve ordered bubble tea from Okome in Shawlands and it was amazing, everything was as expected but after this experience I don’t think I’ll be ordering...

So glad to have a Japanese restaurant now in the local area! I ordered a tofu& mushroom bibimbap (takeaway) & I liked the courgette & beansprouts, but I asked for it to have no spice & it was still really spicey! I appreciate that I have a low spice tolerance, but a customer request must be accommodated to the best of the restaurant's ability & I don't feel that it was. There was no description of the dish, so there was no way for me to know whether it was a generally spicey dish anyway & was therefore one to avoid. I also wasn't a fan of the way the tofu was done. Sadly I couldn't eat much of the dish & didn't enjoy it despite paying £8.95. I am disappointed in Okome, but I'm still giving 4 stars as I hope this was a one off mistake & I don't wish to bring down a newly opened...

I gave the food a 4 score as my son got a fly in the rice that he got with his chicken katsu, he mentioned it to the man when leaving, the man apologised but really should have offered my son a discount as you could clearly see it had been cooked or heated with the rice my son felt sick afterwards at the thought of it, but the manager was extremely apologetic and very nice has offered us free bubble tea and meal next time we are in as the lad that served us was just young and helping out if Chris had been in ot would have been sorted, great customer service and will...
