Im gluten intollerant and I'm glad they do gf bread as neither tescos or costa do it. I didn't tell them anything when I ordered as I wanted to see how they dealt with the gluten free bread. The bead was individually wrapped. I can tolerate contamination but others cannot. But for info when I ordered here the server put the roll on a peice of paper on the counter right next to 2 other sandwiches but didn't change her gloves. The roll was then put on a tray in the grill, still in the paper, still with same gloves on she then did the salad all with same gloves on. No tongs. I enjoyed my first ever Gluten Free Subway. Terrible service for walk in customers there more concerned in doing just eat orders. Stood in the shop for a good 20 mins and they never served one customer in the shop. Staff never even acknowledged me. I would think that walk in customers would have more priority (it was not even that busy) so I couldnā€™t stand any longer as I was on my lunch. So I ran next door to the three in one where I was greeted with a smile and service straight away and that was busier then subway. My advice would be drive to Glasgow city center to subway then drive back and you would back before you were even served in clarkston never be back. Would of thought you would of figured out how to run a smooth service...

Second time coming here for gluten free bread. First time I was totally fine the place had been wiped down. I know subways are not the safest of places to eat when you cant eat wheat, but they could at least try by cleaning the surfaces.. I had to ask for the surface to be wiped down.. after they placed my gluten free bread on the surfacešŸ˜© they changed the paper the bread was on afterwards which a thought would be fine since I never seen my bread actually touch any crumbs but obviously not careful enough. I think more training should be given on this. gluten free is not just a lifestyle choice Some people need to actually eat gluten free or they end up illšŸ˜“ definitely...
