Popped in here after a recommendation from a local we met whilst having a walk and will definitely be back next time we're in Kinross! We made the mistake of ordering when we were absolutely starving; starters, mains, sides of chips.. this was not needed, hahaa. The portion sizes are amazing, and at such good value for money! We were too full to sample any of the cakes, but these also looked really nice. The cafe is dog friendly which is a huge bonus, we sat upstairs in the corner whilst the dog snoozed under us, patiently awaiting a sausage.. the only downside of this seat is that it stares directly into the toilet and people kept leaving the door open after they used it! Read moreWe ordered earlier today. One of the cakes we ordered was a caramel apple slice. Instantly i noticed 2 big green mold spores on the cake. I asked a young female server what this was on the cake. She took it away to ask someone in the back. When she returned, she took the rest of the caramel apple cake to the back and then apologised and offered us another alternative which was an apple slice. I purchased a Cheese and Ham Panini (which ended up being two panini instead, so a very fair portion) with a can of Coke and in total I spent less than £6; the panino was accompanied by a side of colesaw (included in the price), as well as a fork, knife, and tissues. Needless to say, the panino was delicious and overall it felt like a satisfying lunch.
