As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by a smiling face, asked us how we were and pulled out our chairs for us. Their food collection is lovely. Different options for different times of the day. Not too many options but all vastly different. Their drinks are wonderful. They put their tea on the boards but dont be afraid to ask what else they could make.

me and my mama got a mocha, two carrot cake slices, and a banana blueberry and pecan muffin. Everything tasted splendid! The mocha was so well balanced, it was smooth with the perfect mix of sweet and bitter. I didnt even feel like i had to add sugar. It was perfect. The cakes were perfectly baked, the frosting on the carrot cake melts on your tongue and is yet again a balanced flavour thats the perfect amount of sweetness.

The other customers are very sociable and welcoming. You can have a conversation easily and have a nice time. The staff are the same, lovely people who love what they do. A very warm and safe enviroment.

If you stop by eyemouth, definitly...

Was super excited to get a nice coffee here as I had heard great things. The coffee is lovely which is a shame as I did not appreciate how I was treated by staff.

Fair enough it was a bit awkward as I had to wait outside with my dog as not dog friendly.. But for 2 coffees to take over 15 mins I simply asked the lady “how long will it be? I am in a bit of a rush!” Which was met with a rather aggressive “there’s other people before you”. I said I know I understand it’s just been a while - no reply and the door was then shut in my face. Then the apparent owner brought out the coffees, he almost shouted at me “are you working today?” like sorry what has that got to to with me asking how long it will be? Weird way to treat...

Service with a smile at it's absolute best here! I'm a long journey from Edinburgh to Yorkshire, we decided to try to find a little cafe for some coffee and cake, instead of a service station off the motorway. We can't upon The Rialto Cafe, and even from the car, it looked inviting. SO glad we stopped and went in. Such a lovely smiley welcome, and lovely chat (made my day when the lady owner complimented me on my dungarees!!!!). Really really lovely food and coffees... Broke up or journey beautifully, and got back into the car very happy and refreshed for the rest of the drive. Couldn't...

This coffee shop in Eyemouth serves the best coffee in the surrounding area, without a doubt, my favourite place to go definitely makes it into my top five best coffees ever. I can't recommend it enough. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and beyond the incredible coffee, the food is consistently excellent, and the delicious cakes are always a highlight. It's a fantastic spot for everyone, with plenty of tasty vegan and vegetarian options that go beyond the usual fare. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax. It’s a true gem and a definite must-visit.

Wonderfully welcoming and superb coffee. Run by a husband and wife this is quite simply the best cafe within the area. It’s so good we always make a point of taking a detour off the A1 to stop here. We are always made to feel welcome. The coffee is superb, easily on par with the best cafes in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle. The food is extremely high quality, superb breakfast, home made cakes everything is local, fresh and generous portions (my tip ask for the sausage in a roll). During the winter there is an open fire in the back which just adds to the already welcoming atmosphere.
