We visited a lovely coffee shop in Kelso city centre and had an amazing experience. We enjoyed a cappuccino and an Americano, both made with high-quality Italian beans that were simply delightful. This is a small cafe so getting a table can be difficult. We were served by a slightly grumpy man so we weren’t given an amazing welcome such as ‘ hello’! It was more of a nod which meant ‘what do you want?’ In contrast the lady ‘partner’ was very chatty and friendly. We popped in close to closing but had a really nice pot of tea and two brie and sundried tomato rolls. Really nice food. Lots of guides for you to browse as you wait for your food to be delivered and a not too shabby vinyl collection, for you to browse through too.
