Visited for the first time today and the food was exceptional, both in terms of value and taste. We had the set lunch (2 courses for £12.90); I had salt and chilli chicken wings followed by stir fry beef with asparagus and my partner had satay skewers followed by honey chilli chicken. We shared salt and chilli chips. All of the dishes were delicious. We finished off with a banana fritter and a sticky toffee pudding, with the final bill including drinks coming in at under £50. Probably the best Chinese I have had and we will definitely return soon.

The food is always top class here and with a nice variety of menu items you can stick with what you know or be a bit bolder and try something new. We went on a Sunday and they had a "Sunday Lunch" menu which had some really good options on it. Extensive drinks selection, friendly staff and always very clean. What I will say is that they bring you your food absolutely rapid so if you're wanting to take it easy and have a bit of a break between courses you might want to let them know!!!! Also always best to book!

We had Dinner here, it was amazing. The Chicken Satay Skewers as starters were the best I ever had. The Cashew Beef was amazing and the red curry as well. The children had chicken soup as starters, they loved it, the children's chicken curry was okei, but I would choose something from the other amazing foods. Service was very good and fast and they accommodated every change and addition or wishes we had. The restaurant itself is very nice and comfy. They also have a big selection of drinks.

Lovely decor and decent food but several serious issues.

  1. No kids menu, the only option was to pay the full adult price for set price lunch menu. No option to order off main al a carte menu. We had our little girl with us and she would never eat a full 2 course on her own so she had to share some of our food along with a tastless bowl of chips. There were other kids eating at the same time with their families who looked like they were forced to do the same.

  2. Very expensive drinks

  3. Service not that friendly and rather rushed. They are obviously trying to go for a more higher class look than your average Chinese restaurant, BUT they treat you like your dining in buffet king. They can't wait to feed you and get you back out of the door asap. We eat out a lot and know what is good and what's not. The waiter was cleaning our table with a wet cloth while we were waiting to pay the bill, why not wait until we left?

  4. We were overcharged by £10, seems incredible they could make this error. They amended and we eventually paid the correct amount.

  5. Expensive for what it is, 2 course fixed lunch menu for 2, 1 bowl or chips and 3 cokes, £33 before tip. Expensive considering there was no kids menu option and we were eating at lunchtime.

Overall we won't be back which is a shame as we could have been great repeat customers. There are many better options to spend my hard...

Just had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Arrived. Staff were lovely. The waitress took our order, double checked it and fully understood it. Starters came. All very nice. The ladies ordered the sizzling scallops dishes. One of the most expensive dishes on the menu. So, firstly they brought one scallop main course and one beef main course. Sent the beef back because it should have been scallops. The two ladies shared the one scallop dish, however the scallops were chewy and tepid whilst waiting for the other main course. When the 2nd scallop dish eventually arrived, sizzling on the hot plate, my wife cut into the scallops and they were still frozen inside. Just really disgusting and disappointing. Called the staff over and they fully accepted the scallops were frozen. They were less agreeable to the initial scallop dish being unacceptable but did agree to taking them back and knocking them off the bill. Which they did. But, sorry, this is just totally unacceptable at a restaurant and the way the staff dealt with it has in no way given us the notion to ever go back. And we will tell all our friends and family and this will taint their opinion about going here. Whereas, manage the situation much better, and ye know what, we would come back. So, in amongst all these five star reviews,...

updated review - My first review, earlier this year, was 5/5 across all metrics however after my recent visit, this is not deserved.

Without going into all of the absurd details of daring to ask for prawn crackers, pre - order, while waiting on a friend who was running late, the restaurant needs to review the service it provides to its paying clientelle. They tried to refuse me having prawn crackers, pre order, for hygiene` reasons....really ?!?!

The waiter/waitresses are efficient but sullen and when we asked the waiter for guidance on a couple of the main dishes, he was disinterested and unhelpful. The service is also very rushed, 5 mins between courses and they turn the tables very quickly.

Without a doubt, the food is excellent but this needs to be backed up by the other very important part of the experience, excellent service.

Im sure the restaurant wont care if I return or not as the place is always busy ..... reviews are important and issues...
