Spice Cube — Restaurant in Scotland

Absolutely appalled with customer service so rude and disrespectful. For a little bit of context I ordered a just eat from this place for my girl and her 3 friends. They had a look at the menu and 2 of them decided on chocolate fudge cake (with ice cream) the 2 other girls picked an Oreo milkshake and a caramel cake with short bread which she assumed was a caramel cake with shortbread over it or on the side. Once the food arrived we all took out the things we ordered straight away I noticed a lingering smell from the bag, that had already put the girls off from their food. We moved on and opened up the boxes and there it was a sad looking fudge cake with some cremated curdled dollop whipped cream at the side not ice cream! I thought it couldn’t get any worse the “caramel cake with shortbread” was a caramel slice with a big ball of fluff and hair !!! Nothing to do with cake. One of the girls was left with nothing and I had to buy her something else which resulted in a loss of money. I tried to phone them at least 7 times on 3 different devices to complain but I got turned away everytime. I came in to see you this evening following a very disappointing and below satisfactory order that was delivered via Just Eat. An inedible, dry and overcooked chicken pakora and more.

It is very clear that you were not interested in my complaint and had no tolerance to our feedback or protestation over the lack of quality and service. You were very defensive and extremely argumentative and dismissive of my comments.

It’s quite sad and very clear that you took it as a personal attack and refused to accept the negative feedback.

Sadly, you let down your paying customer tonight.

Further, as a customer who has given you 10 years or so custom that’s quite disappointing to accept.

Your manner was aggressive, abrupt and non negotiatory.

That’s a shame.

What was sent out of your kitchen tonight was a 2/10 standard of food and if I were you, I’d be striving to improve the quality of my service. And say the very least , I’d be working on my customer relations.

I really hope you reflect on this and improve your customer service and that the quality of your goods reflect both in person and on the app.

I used to go here a couple of years ago. It was excellent then. Went back tonight and it was awful. The only good thing was the politeness of the girls at the till. Two guys cooking at the front of shop who obviously didn't get on. It was chaos. I noticed deliveries weren't going out, mistakes made and the passed to the side waiting to pass to customers new customers. I waited over half an hour for a lamb kebab. 100% the worst I have ever had. I couldn't even finish it as the lamb was the worst quality you could buy.
