Visited today at the back of 3. Service was quick enough, but reflected in the coffee and hot chocolate I received. My girlfriends toasted marshmallow hot chocolate was luke warm and filled with a gap of about an inch and a half from the top, also never used the toasted marshmallow cream or sprinkled the cream. My caramel macchiato was, warmed milk with a couple of shots of coffee in. I said to the server that there wasn't any caramel on top, he said there is, it just always sinks. I've had countless caramel macchiato and the sauce has never sunk to the bottum of the cup. I didnt want to be completely rude and say that I walked in a coffee shop before and i know that the reason its fallen is because they messed up heating throthing the milk, in turn there hasn't been enough throth for the caramel to sit on it. The server just continued to protest that it always happens, which is fine if they all havnt been trained properly. But with starbucks being a big brand, they shouldnt be messing up £4 coffees. Unfortunately the last 5 times I've visited this store, there have been issues, wrong drink (even when it's been printed on a label from mobile order) the need to chose an altertive because original item of stock, (don't expect the difference back when paid by SB card) or gold membership extras to applied to order when card scanned. Gold members don't bither with your card as they don't take off the loyalty extras you're supposed to receive, theyre therefore charging an extra £1-2 a drink when it's supposed to be free (shots, syrups etc). Items that are shown 'in stock' that have been ordered via mobile app can't be refunded if you've paid with your starbucks card, you have to contact Starbucks, which you'd think would be straight forward with a phone call, unfortunately starbucks phone lines are not being staffed right now. When we walked in there were three empty tables which had not been cleaned and when I asked one the staff members if he could please clean the one I was sitting at he said to hold on a minute. Then approx five minutes later he came out and proceeded to clean the empty tables even though he knew I was waiting with my coffee & sandwich in hand. I moved to one of the tables he partially cleaned as it wasn't properly cleaned (the chairs were covered in crumbs but it was better than where I was).
