myself and my family stayed here early July for 3 days using it as a base to visit other places we've always used Premierr inn and have never had any problems til we got to here ....can't fault the rooms or staff as always everything was good until it came to night time where it was like the bewitching hour and all posters on walls/doors to ask for quiet after a certain time we're ignored ! 3 nights of guys drinking outside and causing mayhem til well into the "wee hours" of the morning is unacceptable ! There is a pub attached to the hotel (separate company) and this is where the problem starts and there are seats outside soooo this gives a place to sit after hours drinking shouting fighting if we'd have wanted this we'd have gone to a boxing match ! I have to point out these guys aren't from the local area they were contractors staying in the hotel then leaving early morning to go to work so obviously drink driving too ! They weren't just content in having an after hours party outside oh no they partied all the way along the corridors banging on doors scaring the life out of my daughter and disabled 11 year old granddaughter !! On reading reviews when we left to go home ( in need of a full night's sleep) this has been an ongoing problem since 2018 so there's been plenty of time for it to be sorted out so if your looking for an hotel for a nice wee getaway then don't...
Read moreThis was our second visit to this hotel (the previous visit being several years ago) This time round the room was still just as hot though a fan was already supplied on arrival. The room had everything we needed and the kingsize bed was comfy as promised. The only thing that irritated me was that the sheets were made for a double bed! Lots of nights spent fighting with the bottom sheet which kept becoming loose. You have to ask for your room to be serviced and this was overlooked once during our stay leaving us with damp towels and running low on toilet paper. Theses items were soon put right. The bed hadn't been changed the following day though so communication isn't strong at this hotel sometimes. Another point to add is food. The adjacent Weavers Mill restaurant offers breakfast but not until 10.am. Not much use for most people staying I...
