The owners were kind and friendly and ready to serve. The place was cosy and comfortable, decent music (Runrig!). The steak was amazing. The burger i had off their extensive creative burger menu was delicious and plentiful. This place comes with a big dollop of good old favourites like bisto gravy, mayonnaise and squirty cream combined with excellent quality meats, and products. Value for money definitely, the steak was £12! Needs booking.

Best place in Jedburgh by a mile. Owners made you feel welcome from the minute you walk through the door, helped us find a B&B through their friend which was amazing. The food we ordered was freshly made by Lorraine and was the best burgers we have ever had, not to mention the loaded fries. We will definetly be back to such a welcoming and warm place. Thank you.

Die Wirte sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und man kommt auch schnell mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch. Darüber hinaus ist der Pub sehr haustierfreundlich, unser Labrador war ein gerngesehener Gast und hat auch das ein oder andere Leckerli abgestaubt. Am zweiten Abend dann ein typisch schottisches Pie sowie Burger mit Haggis. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, wir werden es uns für die nächsten Schottland - Urlaube merken und gerne wiederkommen.

We had the fish and chips.When it came it was the smallest piece of Frozen breaded fish, from a supermarket freezer not fresh. Hardly any fish, the breadcrumb was mainly wet and soggy inside. My wife just had the fish and chips, no salad or scampi as on the menu. Only after she had eaten most of it did they ask if she would like some peas, too late. Totally disappointed with the whole thing and to top it off when I spoke to Gordon about the food he just replied with that's how it is full price regardless. Menu doesn't say it's Frozen fish and we don't have to state that. Would not recommend this establishment no...

The food in the Belters bar is amazing all freshly prepared and cooked to order , were there twice and made to feel very welcome by the owners we had our elderly parents with us who are not very good on their feet and they let us sit downstairs in the bar to have our meal , great menu with so much to choose from second time we went I had the lamb curry it's the best curry I've ever tasted , cannot praise the owners enough for their hospitality, if you are ever in Jedburgh or surrounding areas the Belters Bar is a must for a...

Visited belters bar for dinner whilst visiting jedburgh. Its a quirky pub with regards to layout and its decor but I think that's what gives it, it's charm. Staff were very friendly and attentive during our visit. There is a good selection on the menu and it is well priced. Generous portions are given and the three of us left feeling stuffed after enjoying our meal.

I would definitely recommend visiting belters bar, whether it be for a drink...
