The Bread Guys Bakery — Restaurant in Scotland

Yesterday I bought 2 bacon rolls, a donut, a yum yum and a chocolate orange cake.

The chocolate orange cake was ok, but everything else I ordered was terrible; the bacon was massively overcooked and to be honest it wouldn’t surprise me if it was bacon from the previous day, and the donut and yum yum was really dry.

I did complain to the assistant about how dry the donut and yum yum was and he did mention that I was not the first customer to complain and that it must be an issue with their central bakery. I would add that there was no offer of a refund.

I will not be visiting this bakers again which is a shame as the old bakers under the previous owners...

The worst service I have ever experienced as soon as asked for something off their lunch specials menu, I was met with a member of staff who's attitude was absolutely disgusting. Not sure if we were there on a bad day but was not impressed. The service was friendly and the food looked great. Grabbed some items to takeaway. Macaroni pie was inedible, but the dogs enjoyed it! The macaroni on the top was dry and rock hard, and then the bottom of the macaroni didn't taste cooked properly 😓
