Ugly American who visited this great establishment in 2018. Felt like someone scratched a record when I walked in as I was the only woman in the bar besides the bartenders. I ordered a whisky and sat by myself. There was a table of older gentlemen who then invited me to sit down, to which I obliged. I ended up drinking Scottish beers and hearing their wonderful stories. I got invited back the next day to attend a wake at a nearby church and then drinks followed at the bar.
