Ah, Centtal Ayr at the top of towm. What's not to like about this place?
Well, since I asked, I'll tell you. Believe it or not, there are customer toilets in the underground carpark and they should be condemned. They mention these toilets in the bible. That chapter about hell. I actually didn't believe they existed but it looks like it was for the construction workers when this place was first erected and they built Central Ayr around it.
But don't use this toilet. Whatever you do, don't use it.
Instead, waltz through Costa checking the wall menu as if preparing to order, while you breeze straight to the toilets. They are for customers only but that's shop policy, not law.
Toy Town is awesome for the kids and they always have a wee sale on.
Primark is generally great for prices but a quick Google search will tell you why and it might put you off buying there.
River Island and Next are also here if you fancy paying £40 for something that cost 8p to make. I joke. Probably 20p.

Starbucks have just opened a cafe here too, but if like me you enjoy good coffee this is not the...
Read moreSo incredibly disappointed in Ayr. The main street is so empty and only has a very odd shop that is worth going into. Most people around were somply there to wait for their bus. It used to be a busy town with a good variety of shops with the Kyle shopping centre at its hub. Now the derelict centre has shutters closing it off. However, inadvertently we drove into its multistorey car park and it looks as if it's used for anti social behaviour, sleeping rough, etc. I was shocked this car park hadn't been sealed off or demolished. We drove on the Prestwick and found it to feel much more inviting, with some pleasant shops and had our choice of lovely restaurants for our evening meal. Ayr has so much potential with a lovely seafront but it's now a total tip. I pity its' residents as it is so...
