Its one of those few traditional pubs that still cater for a relaxed refreshment. Obviously catering for events dear to regular customers hearts and the bar staff might well listen - they might not as well, which is the age old battle between landlord and demanding customers. The conversation is always about retaining things we love and these things we value; on occasion to the passer by it sounds like moaning but often thats just the pain of caring.
