What a shame! This was my second visit here after impeccable service and food.Today, what a complete difference. Only 2 girls on and ignored for 15 mins before catching eye to order breakfast. The girl who came jokingly said our breakfasts woukd be late too. Our coffees arrived but without a spoon or saucer, so after a minute, and after asking for service across the table but either not heard or ignored, I donned my mask to go to the counter to ask for some spoons. The girl asked me to repeat (I was wearing a mask) so I did, louder and stirred like I was using a spoon. "There's no need to be rude!" barked she. I wasn't said I. Eyes rolled & back turned. Breakfast arrived - it was the wrong order. Offered to replace but I didn't have another 15 mins to wait. Needless to say, not happy to be treated this way.

Popped in while we passed through and we're pleasantly surprised. The cafe was busy but the five of us were soon seated. The food was lovely and really nicely presented. I recommend the beetroot latte, they offer matcha and turmeric lattes as an alternative to coffee. You can buy roasted coffee in various grinds. They have speciality teas and cater for allergies. Their children's meals were really great value, with children receiving a proper sandwich, animal crisps, some raisins and a drink, along with some stickers, a puzzle book and some crayons presented in a carry out bag to keep, much better and more personable than most larger chains. The staff were all really lovely, nothing was too much trouble. I'll definately pop in again if I was in the area. It was the remedy for the day!

Lovely cafe. We went in for Coffee & Cake after a walk along the seafront. Really good selection of cakes and also a selection of Icecreams available as well. I believe they do meals also. Quirky surroundings and atmosphere, with cool iconic album covers and art on the walls, whilst listening to everything from Hall & Oats to Abba! The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. If I lived in Ayr, I'd make it my local Caf! Highly recommend.

My wife and I having a day out in Ayr came across this wee cafe and had an enjoyable light lunch. The staff were very nice and our food great. We asked to use the toilet and told it was the public ones out back. 60p OK, but they were contactless. Well done Ayr Council (my second disappointment with them that day) not everyone use that method sirs. A sign said to by a card from the cafe and so I asked, only to discover the cards were £6. The girl was very understanding and said to use the one by their door. I thanked her and all was good till I said to my wife. She then went to use it only to get severely told off by another staff member. She got to use it but told me she was mortified to be told off like that. Our experience at Remedy was my reason for only ⭐⭐⭐⭐, but Ayr Council...
