Blackburn Villa B&B — Hotel in Great Britain

Stayed at Blackburn Villa while visiting family, we had a lovely ground floor room with ensuite facilities. The house is lovely & clean as was our room, there was nothing we lacked in the room. The tea & coffee tray was plentiful including instant & filter coffee with cafetiere, hot chocolate and Scottish shortbread, there was also a bottle of fresh filtered water, all of which were restocked daily. There was plenty of fresh milk available in the fridge in the hall way.|The shower room had plenty of fresh towels as well as luxuary complimentary toiletries, shampoo, shower gel, hand wash & hand cream etc. There was a very comfy king size bed with crisp fresh linen meaning we slept very well during our stay. |Our host, Karen, was very pleasant & helpful throughout our stay. We came to Ayr for the first time this werk and spent 2 nights at Blackburn Villa. Karen's Bed and Breakfast is simply stunning and it is just a 5 minutes walk away from a beautiful beach.

Our room (with private bathroom) was spotless, with a great comfy bed, lots of fluffy white towels, a fantastic selection of beauty products as well as a kettle with a huge selection of teas, coffee and scrumptious shortbreads.

After a very good quality sleep, Karen's breakfast were amazing - I went for the smoked salmon on muffins and my husband chose the full Scottish one. Our daughter, more keen on cereals and toast, also had a great variety to choose from.

Blackburn Villa is also pet friendly and our wee dog had a wonderful time staying with us in the room.

We cannot recommend Blackburn Villa enough. Karen is a fantastic hostess and a wonderful person who will go the extra mile to ensure you have a wonderful time in her beautiful house! We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already arranged to come back...

Arrived at Karen's door as previous accommodation had been a let down. Karen welcomed us with a cheery smile from the start and invited us to view the room before we committed to staying. We knew instantly the place was clean and well looked after there was wee touches that made the place special. The room was large and featured a double bed and single bed, a sofa, wardrobes drawers and a large bay window overlooking the garden. The bathroom was huge and featured luxury items and plenty of fresh clean towels. In the room, there was tea coffee, hot chocolate etc, fresh clean robes, wifi, tv and they cater for people with gluten intolerances/allergies. We were given a breakfast menu with a varied choice both cooked and cereal. The breakfast was delicious and Karen was the perfect hostess.
