   Read moreAvoided going to the pub again as I was in last week with friends where we noticed the manager of the pub getting drunk and passing personal remarks to customers, this became a topic of discussion between folks and also heard from someone else that he was arguing with the woman he was in with. As a manager of a pub we found this horrifying and it kind of ruined our night and views on this pub, been going for years, the staff are all lovely but this has definitely made us consider whether or not we will be returning, it has totally put me off going again tonight when some friends invited us. I am not the type to ever leave reviews but I feel this was necessary. I understand people can be drunk and have a bad night but working in pubs myself through the years this was a total red flag...
   Read moreThis seemed like a traditional pub on the outside and inside it appeared to be a drinkers pub. Although staff were friendly the interior was dark and pretty basic with a bar in the centre of the first room you entered so you could stand at either side and the end. I made the mistake of having a glass of merlot which tasted like the bottle had been opened a while. On the other hand the draught beer was good.
