Not really got much to review considering we were turned away at the door. So for context, myself and my friends had had a few glasses of alcohol prior to trying to access the pub, nothing much and every member of the party was essentially sober. The bouncer and one member of bar staff at the door told one of us that she’d had too much and couldn’t come in. We reported this to the manager as it was blatant lies. The story then changed to suspected drug use, as they claimed they could smell drugs on us, which again was also blatant lies. From looking at reviews, it seems a few others have experienced this or something similar. I’m not 100% sure why they fabricated this story, perhaps because they don’t like gay people or perhaps because they don’t like English tourists. Who knows?
