I messaged my friend to pickup lamb chop karahi portion and some chapatis as i was working. My sons on the spectrum, so getting him to try different food has been difficult. He took a liking to these when I ordered them the first time which surprised me. So every so often he has to have them. Well last night when I got home, after 11pm, opened the bag my friend brought. The container was I'd say less than half full of masala and mostly oil. I opened it up, and started taking them out. One full lamb chop, one bone (i guess the meat fell of at some point) and a wee bitesize piece of lamb. That's it, for £9.50-£10 that's it . My kid was hungry so I gave it to him. I called up today to find out how many lamb chops are meant to be in a portion, first guy wasn't sure, he said 3, then 4. I've had 5 when I've had them delivered in the past, so was confused. Second guy was extremely rude. Apparently you don't get a portion based on the amount of meat in it. Just as is. So what, they charge £10 for one chop and wee piece of meat with masala and call that a portion. Aren't they all supposed to be similar? Or atleaset similar weight? He actually told me i should have called last night, when? While working? Then he has the audacity to say i should bring it in and he'll change it. After I mention i have a kid, he thinks I'll let my kid go hungry. On top of that, my kid will have a melt down if he doesn't get what he wants. Shame on you Yadgar and your staff. Your just greedy. Charging that much for so little.

Read moreI also have been dining here for a long time but not now. I know it could be a hit and miss at times depending on the staff at the front for the last couple of years but now the staff just don't care anymore about cooking good consistent quality food anymore. So for me its a thumbs down. Staff are like imposters who want to ruin it for the owner. Owner is a nice hard working person and I wish him well but he needs to kick out the staff who are at times ruining the cooking because they cant cook and are not chef's, absolutely useless. They even burn the grilled kebabs. The previous reviewer Phil Harris is 100% correct. I too ordered a lamb curry with tandoori chicken and what I got was a tasteless yellow onion base sauce not fit for purpose, the chicken was cooked half and had a weird smell . This gave me stomach pains which I wont go into detail. Sorry but this place has lost it's touch, I cannot afford to be of work because of careless staff. Try Victoria road, the takeaway restaurant at the corner across from lidl supermarket has much better...
Read moreThis was the go to place if you wanted excellent food back in the day. I have been going back every now and then and I'm sorry to report the quality of the food has consistently gone downhill. I've given them the benefit of the doubt but there has been no improvement in fact its deteriorated even further. Anyway went there last week with a friend. His choice to take me there. The pizza base is not fresh but of the frozen kind which tasted awful. Got the yadgar special tikka mix but it was tasteless. Might as well be eating cardboard. No joke. The mix kebab on nan was mediocre. Donner was absolutely terrible and cold. Only best thing we had were the can of cokes. Its evident the owner doesn't care about the quality of the food but instead about how much profit can be made. I for one made the correct choice never to go back there on my own choice. I was surprised how busy the place was considering the poor quality of food and how many other quality eateries there are for instance Kebabish...
