Glasgow Sweet Centre — Restaurant in Scotland

Hello I’m a fan of the shop, I may be a gora but I know good food and this shop cannot be beaten. I have travelled all over Glasgow and Edinburgh looking for better samosa, biryani and pakora and Ras malai and wasn’t able to find better! The samosa are great especially the lamb mince which is all mince and perfectly spiced, so many places sell mince samosa but nearly all potato. The biryani is always fresh and tasty a little extra chicken would be nice I wouldn’t mind paying bit extra for extra chicken. The pakora is great and my favourite is the Ras Malai, it’s made to perfection and not as sweet and thick as most places which ruins the texture, this place does it all better than anywhere! Compliments to the kitchen staff they should all get a pay rise 😂🤣. Keep up the good work. Don’t let the area put you off the shop is very clean and food is amazing! I love their biryani, they are the only people in Glasgow who knows the difference between pulao and biryani I am quite surprised from a sweet shop. Not many restaurants know how to make biryani in Glasgow, I tried different places honestly you can see oil dripping from rice and meat taste like boiled which added seperately and they still charging £7 per portion. This biryani taste exactly what it suppose to be, where spices absorbed properly and meat is well marinated, each time I tried their taste always stay same. Price wise is worth more than what you get in a portion. Their samosa and chaat are the best atleast samosa is far more better than kundan sweets who always over fried and burn them. It's an old established sweet house in Glasgow and have thier clientele. The food and quality of produce is great with no complaint. The customer service is however quite awful. One server with a pale complexion has a serious attitude problem and comes across quite confrontarional when asking simple questions. Service with a smile doesn't hurt. With more sweet houses now available, glasgow sweet center needs to work on their customer service ad the older generations may have put up with bad attitude, the younger generations do not find that acceptable and are happy to take thier...
