Henry's Pizza & Kebab — Restaurant in Sefton

Ordered a kebab, chips, garlic bread and a drink (not a complicated order) at 19:55 on a Friday evening through JustEat, after receiving confirmation of my order I'm told it's not going to be delivered until 21:30 which is annoying but I understand it's Friday they must be busy....

21:30 comes and goes with no delivery.

21:45 comes and still no food! I phone the restaurant which is an ordeal in itself as the call takes several attempts to even start ringing before I finally get through and am greeted by a fairly aggressive/stressed out guy screaming at me for my address I confirm my address and I am then assured by meal will be with me in the next 10 minutes.

22:00 comes and STILL no food! I phone again only this time they ignore the call 4 or 5 times before I am again greeted by the same stressed out nob head who assures me (yet again) that my food will be with me shortly only this time the promise is "If it's not there in 5 minutes give us a call back straight away"

22:05 comes STILL NO FOOD! So I phone again.... and again and again and again.... 20+ times I tried to get through to that restaurant with nobody picking up the phone.

22:25 comes after many many attempted calls I now resort to JustEat live chat help. They offer to call the restaurant and I wish them luck with that. Whilst JustEat are doing their thing, guess what?

22:30 THE FOOD ARRIVES! Cold, damp and just not looking particularly appetising. I bin the food and go to bed on an empty stomach dreaming of writing this review.

I'm only giving three stars because up until last time we ordered everything was absolutely 💯%, however the last time we ordered and tonight's order were both terrible. . The last time we ordered we did so by phoning direct and, I'm not being racist but, it seemed like whoever answered the phone couldnt speak English very well and I had to repeat everything at least 3 times and when our food turned up it was still wrong. We ordered via Just Eat. Right so talking about the food: kebabs were ok, had better before but overall they were tasty. I think they should have more salad and both me, and my bf, think that it should have way more sauce. Chips were ok. Spring onions were a little bit mushy but still ok. Spring rolls? Personally think that the £1 Iceland spring rolls are more tasty. Overall I'm happy with what I had and it was nice. Now, moving on to the issues. Portion sizes.
