IL FORNINO — Restaurant in Sefton

I placed on order for a Pizza and Milkshake over the Just Eat app which never arrived. My address is at a student residence so it makes sense that the courier would call or otherwise notify me over the app when they arrived but to no avail. When I called the restaurant half an hour after the estimated delivery time they simply said the order had already arrived without any further details. After checking with my reception they confirmed that no deliveryman came by and no one rang the front door about a delivery. I always ordered here for pizza, its delicious but on my last order there was a piece of plastic inside, it was a hard, white, small thick stick inside the pizza, it looks like a broken part of something (maybe plastic utensil). I still got the plastic to give it to them. I never give bad reviews but i feel like this is an error that shouldn't happen again, so thats why im writting this. I agree with a previous review - has there been a change in personnel or management? Our food came an hour early. The ‘skin on fries’ were just a cheap, really small portion of frozen chips. The kebab bread seemed stale and kept breaking. There were no German Pickles either. I rang to complain and I was told they are open until 3:30am so I could have a free meal!
