My niece and her daughters were visiting from the States and this was there closest pub to their Air B and B. I've never been there before but looking at the outside and the litter coverd Rd I wasn't expecting much. What a revolution, The Hawthorn is a gem, friendly barmaids and welcoming locals. They don't do food but don't seem to mind you bringing your own in. Clean and well set out, this is a really good pub and I have no problem...
