Apollon Greek Grill — Restaurant in Sheffield

Ordered off Deliveroo. We got a £31 10 skewers meal (chicken) and it was so bad. Where do I start? Portion size is tiny. Supposed to come with fries, which were actually slices of potato, no seasoning, soggy and limp. I had to air fryer them, lace with salt & pepper for taste and still left my half of them. The chicken was bland and the most chewy, rubbery meat I've ever had the misfortune to eat. The bread was so greasy and cut into weird triangles of all sorts of sizes, no 2 matched. The box it came in was 7x10x2.5 inches, half empty and full of sweat. The only thing that actually tasted of anything was the weird lump of lemon we got. No salad, no Sauces, no flavour, no chance of me ever ordering from Apollo Greek ever again. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place...

I recently visited this amazing souvlaki spot, and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience! The souvlaki was perfectly cooked, with tender meat and a deliciously smoky flavor. The pita was soft and fresh, and the toppings were generous and full of flavor. The sauces, especially the tzatziki, were out of this world. I walked in and gave my name, owner was grumpy then they handed me an Uber eats order, clearly because I'm not white (Brazilian) and they took me for a delivery driver. I had the wait for the whole order to be cooked again. My actual order went with some delivery person that I haven't seen.

Price is OK. Hostile atmosphere and slow service, owner seems to be angry that he had work to do.

On the other hand, his sole staff member was really apologetic and gave me a free drink for the wait so...
