Flying Fish studio — Attraction in Sheffield

Absolutely loved our session this weekend. I booked this as our 14yr old had an interest in doing needle felting for part of her art GCSE and thought it was such good value that we could all do it as a family activity. Both children (14 + 9) loved it and surprisingly so did their dad and I. It was really easy to pick up and relaxing. Hannah brought all the materials needed (and more!) with her and was patient and informative and lovely Company throughout. My daughter really enjoys these classes and I can see her enthusiasm and passion shining through with Hannah's wonderful nurturing support. She comes home with so many ideas and her creativity has flourished. This is so lovely to see when before she didn't have the confidence to experiment or try new things, now I'm happy to see her absorbed in her own little projects inspired by the art she is doing with Hannah. Last night I attended a two hour course learning how to make wire flowers and foliage. The venue was beautiful and very well organised. Hannah, who runs the courses there, was very friendly and helpful. She has a maximum of 8 in her classes so she can offer individual support when needed. Everyone there was a beginner and enjoyed the workshop, each leaving with amazing creations we had all made. I’ll be looking out for another course to attend. Also thinking of trying to get a group together and organise a private party. Would highly recommend...
