Brass Monkey — Restaurant in Sheffield

This bar was fabulous when it first opened, not been in for a long time but since I was in the area thought it would be nice to go back again. Firstly despite all the chairs and tables being empty a group of men of varying ages were all stood at the bar (baring in mind this is a small micro "pub") being extremely loud, using very offensive language and yes I do expect to hear swearing in pubs however this was a over use of the word soft C##t over and over again. The young lass behind the bar didn't seem to know her gins and I didn't feel comfortable enough to be at the bar for too long so ask about selections or mixers. One of the men was vaping at the bar and was not told to go outside to vape as I'm pretty sure they are classed the same as cigarettes. A horrid experience would not go again. Really pleased we have a micro bar on Middlewood Road. Second visit today and I do like it. However it is a wee bit expensive for gin and tonic.
