McDonald's — Restaurant in Sheffield

Absolutely horrendous service. DO NOT use this McDonald’s if you want quick efficient service. It wasn’t particularly busy when I arrived. There was about 3 customers waiting for pick up and a few cars queuing at drive through. I ordered through the app and waited patiently for my food. My order number disappeared off the screen after about 5 mins but I know they do that when your order is nearly ready so thought nothing of it. However, after about 15 mins I asked the lady who was handing out orders where my food was as the order number had gone. She had a quick look round the back and says your order is on its way. After another 15 mins I’m getting quite frustrated, I’ve only ordered 2 burgers and 1 fries, how long does it take. I asked a young lad again where my order is. He came back and says they’ve lost it. I asked lost what, the food or the order? He says it’s been so long that they can’t find the order. Another employee overheard and went round the back and came back with a bag. Asked if this order was mine. I looked and said yes but what happened. They didn’t have an explanation so I left fuming after waiting 35 minutes. The food was cold and needless to say I didn’t enjoy it. Won’t be coming back to this McDonald’s ever. Hope management reads this. Please improve your standards, McDonald’s brand deserve better than this. Your restaurant is not run correctly. You seem to prioritise drive through and delivery orders and forget there’s customers...

Extremely poorly managed branch, I've been in here a few times and always get the exact same experience, order, wait roughly 15-25 minutes for cold food to be handed over.

They delete the orders from the board periodically, not when they have been fulfilled, I guess this is so that on paper it looks like they are delivering better service, but leaves customers confused about whether their food is actually coming when the waits are unusually long.

The last time I was in there I could see that food was left on the side bagged and ready to go, and was very disappointed when 5 minutes later someone shouted out my order number and handed me said bag. I really wish I had taken a picture of the mcflurry I got from there as they had filled the container about a quarter full, the guy even looked embarrassed handing it to me, but I didn't want to risk another 15 minute wait for them to remake it so just took it and left.

If you're driving I'd recommend going elsewhere as you'd probably save time driving to another branch and ordering rather than waiting...

Absolutely Disgusting 😡🤮 I went into this place for breakfast. I spent around £5 and waited for my order - which took far too long. During my wait, a quite scruffily dressed young man walked into the restaurant and spoke to the staff - before disappearing toward the toilets. Within (literally) about 15 seconds I saw the same young man handling food - my order - with no gloves on his hands - hands which could no way have been washed in the few seconds between him entering the premises and mauling my food. He also placed the wrapping paper upside down onto the work surface before turning it the right way up and wrapping my food in it. I took my order back immediately as I was utterly repulsed by the apparent filth from unwashed hands as well as potentially soiled food wrapping containing my breakfast. I told these people to keep their food and the money as I left in utter repulsion of what I had seen. Never ever again will I visit these dirty, filthy places. This is the second experience of filth from McDonalds in a week. 🤮 Good...
