A delightful experience at Pasha Restaurant & Grill!

We visited Pasha as a family of four (two adults, two kids) in May 2024, and I must say, the overwhelmingly positive reviews on Google are spot on.

On arrival, we took the opportunity to ask a couple who were just leaving the restaurant about their experience. They were very pleased with the food and service, which set our expectations high.

We were warmly greeted by the Pasha team, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain the menu and even offered some recommendations, which we greatly appreciated.

The décor at Pasha was nice and fresh, providing a lovely atmosphere that made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

We started with a variety of appetisers:

Garlic Mushrooms Sucuk Falafel Hummus Prawn Cocktail Ezme Salad

Each dish was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Only thing to note was the ezme salad is a rather 'wet' salad so if you are wanting something more traditional, chose another option. We were even treated to a bonus appetiser – the 'Russian Salad' – which, although not on the menu, was an incredible addition. I highly recommend it!

For our main courses, we ordered:

Homemade Beef Burger Mixed Grill Lamb Shish The mains did not disappoint. Everything was perfectly cooked, well-prepared, and bursting with taste. The portions were generous, making the meal both satisfying and memorable.

The overall service was excellent. The staff were attentive, courteous, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Considering the quality of the food and service, the bill of £115 for our family felt very reasonable.

The food was appalling, overcooked and dry; the service was absolutely terrible. Very understaffed, the staff are really rude; the food took over an hour and a half to come out, I would not recommend nor return to this restaurant! Really disappointed!! As I am unable to reply to the restaurant’s response; I dined at the restaurant on Sunday 19th January 2024 for my birthday meal; they had that many guest booked in, they could not keep up. The staff are rude and the food was over cooked and not nice at all; I had a table booked for 19 people and all of us were extremely disappointed. As this restaurant has read my previous reviews, it is honest feedback of my experiences of where I have dined or of the services I have used and the feedback I have given you will stand as hopefully you will take the feedback to improve your business as the service you are currently providing from my experience is very poor and I will never return to this restaurant due to my experience of dining here; it was extremely disappointing and I am still disappointed as I had dined their before in July 2024 and the food and service was great, not sure what has happened but I can no longer recommend this restaurant after my latest experience. We are regulars to Pashas as it’s our favourite Turkish restaurant in Sheffield! We always come for birthdays and bring large parties! We dined last night and the food was 5* yet again perfect! However the service wasn’t the same as what we are used to! We have always had a laugh and joke with the Turkish servers and my husband always talks about football and the country and he is Muslim himself and we love turkey! Last night it seemed dull and no conversation was made. The young girls who were serving were fab however came to check on us and made sure we always had drinks. We also tried to split our bill so we could all pay in couples/fanilies and when we worked out the items with the menu prices the bill was £20 higher with no explanation. We did pay as the food was worth the money! However the man dealing with it got quite defensive and didn’t want to listen to us and told us we had to tell him the amount each person was paying rather than us tell him what food was ordered so it could be added up again! We will return as we love the place however hope the service gets...
