Whilst normally I enjoy this chip shop, I may avoid it whilst this particular cashier is serving. I was only told after going around the corner to get the money out that the thing I had wanted was not available, and had to almost argue for my alternate order over the substitution she picked for me. She very clearly barely understood the language which I don't like docking points for, however if you're working as a cashier, you need to know how to speak to the customers you're serving, and it was very clear from our limited interaction, that this cashier did not, as I had to repeat things multiple times and still had to correct her at the end of the order. I wish I read the reviews first. Stopped off to get sausage chips and gravy for me my partner on our way home. My initial thought was bad enough when I didn’t like the smell in my car which unusual when you’ve got a chippy to look forward to. Then we tucked in at home.. the chips were dry and tasted as if they had been reheated. The sausage, well I cut into it and the inside was white, not the colour I expected and the smell was horrible. I didn’t eat it but my partner did and he said the texture was awful. The curry sauce was okay but not very nice either. My son wasn’t keen and he loves a chippy. I feel like I wasted £15 tonight. I find it amazing that some sad people have taken the time to give bad reviews. One of them found a hair in his food and another has complained that no menu was available, and just because of these minor things, these people gave them 1 star! Get a life. This chip shop is immaculately clean, staff lovely and professional, the menus are clearly displayed and most importantly the food is absolutely lovely. When the old Sketty Park Chip Shop closed years ago Swansea lost it's best chippy. The new owners have returned this chippy to and excellent one.
