Situated off a Main Dual carriageway Farnham in Slough industrial estate, where the likes of Wicks, Selco, huge Aldi are also present, mainly used for it's drive through, however, there is seating available inside, it's clean and tidy. The touch screen doesn't have easy to find favourites like the mini fillet burger and removing lettuce from itemised items was not achievable at the screen, I was not alone in my failed attempts to customise and find what I wanted. Which meant ordering from the kiosk. At the kiosk, this is manned by lovely ladies, very polite and peaceful and so willing to help, however, being predominantly an Asian area, the staff are mainly Indian/Pakistani, beautiful and polite, there was a slight difficulty in the accent and language barrier, which was a little frustrating after not being able to customise on the touch scree, time wasted, I wasn't in a hurry though, just hungry after visiting Selco for filler, sand paper and scrappers etc! Plenty of room to park up. One chicken wrap came slightly after all other items, I personally went for a zinger stacker with cheese, no lettuce and sauce accompanied with three pieces of chicken and was able to communicate no drumsticks, just breast and thigh and that's what I got, I don't go for fries, as the skin is left on the chip and that gives me the heebie geebies, fingers down the chalk board affect due to being texturally neurological divergent. I was happy to eat the missus left over fillet too and all was left soft bones eaten too, finger liking great. I couldn't however divide general waste from recycling, having painstakingly sorted all the paper and card from bones, the one bin for everything scenario on the way out disappointed, probably only going to landfill anyway, do not quite me. I wasn't the only one with the accent and language barrier issue, as I could hear another Man getting a little frustrated, they appear to be used to it and all worked out well, as I say these wonderful ladies are peaceful, respectful and beautifully polite with patients to be admired. The man eventually had assistance at the touch screen by one of the serving women, the Man then went on to assist another man find the same item ordering next to him with his new...
Read moreExperience: My recent visit to KFC left me with a satisfying experience overall. The ambiance was lively, with the familiar aroma of fried chicken filling the air as soon as I entered. The staff were friendly and efficient, swiftly taking my order and ensuring it was prepared to my specifications.
Food Quality: The highlight, as always, was the signature fried chicken. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor. The secret blend of herbs and spices truly sets KFC apart. The sides complemented the main course perfectly, with the coleslaw providing a refreshing contrast to the richness of the chicken.
Service: Service was prompt and courteous throughout my visit. The staff were attentive to my needs and ensured that I had everything I required for an enjoyable dining experience. The order was ready in a timely manner, allowing me to indulge in my meal without any unnecessary delays.
Ambiance: The restaurant had a vibrant atmosphere, with upbeat music playing in the background and clean, well-lit seating areas. While it was bustling with activity, there was still ample space for customers to dine comfortably.
Improvements: While my overall experience was positive, there is always room for improvement. I would suggest paying closer attention to the temperature of the food, as some items were slightly lukewarm upon serving.
Conclusion: In conclusion, my visit to KFC was a delightful culinary journey. From the tantalizing aroma of freshly cooked chicken to the warm hospitality of the staff, every aspect of the experience was enjoyable. I would definitely recommend KFC to anyone craving delicious fried chicken served with a side of...
Read moreI visited KFC Slough Trading Estate this evening, on Friday 29th January, around 17.45hrs it was busy, to be honest it appeared the staff were in 'Chaos mode'.
I had to physically go inside the restaurant to order and collect food for my children as the drive thru was packed bumper to bumper all the way out onto the main street.
This KFC store was reasonably clean and had Covid-19 protocols and procedures in place.
However, the front door has to be pulled open outwards to go inside this would involve touching the handle, luckily I had gloves on and this was not a problem, would dread to think how many people have to touch the door handle physically to gain entry...
The staff were really busy, I had to wait a good ten minutes before a young man came to the till and politely acknowledged me and took my order. My order number was 2570, I spent approximately £18.50 on food and drinks. On collection of my order I found the items rather 'thrown in' in haste.
One noticeable alarming thing was all the delivery drivers from Uber, Deliveroo, Just eat etc all on the right hand side of the restaurant, whilst they were all pretty much wearing masks I am sure they were not socially distancing as per government guidelines.
This store I feel on my visit today did not live up to the 'Colonel's experience'.
In fairness, this could have been due to how busy the staff were.
KFC has for me at least these days become an expensive treat whether for myself and/or my children.
The above post is my views based on my experience of visiting...
