Peri Peri Chicken Original — Restaurant in Slough

Couple of factors for my review. 1st of all they refuse to take card payments and push for cash even though there is a card machine under the till which operates when they fancy. 2nd of all and the most important factor is the lady at the till in the white shirt Pakistani origin and claims to be the manager on shift. Where do I start with her, she’s point blank rude, abrupt and very intimidating and comes across aggressive towards customers. Myself and a couple of work colleagues came to the restaurant for a meal and were told we can’t pay by card and only cash. When we challenged this by saying the owner of the place allowed us to pay by card literally a week ago, we were met with aggression, attitude and absolute rudeness from the female at the till. She kept shutting us down and telling us to go and cash out money from the cash machine and refused to make any eye contact with us apart from giving us the dirty evil eye. I’m absolutely disgusted with this behaviour and honestly it’s a scary experience I even challenged the behaviour and asked if she was ok as a welfare check and I was told yes I’m fine just tired to which I responded so am I yet I’m a paying customer and don’t expect this sort of behaviour from any business. First and foremost, i only order the Lemon and Herb Whole Grilled Chicken, therfore this review is based solely on this meal, and is not a reflection of their other food.

I have to say this is the best grilled chicken money can buy, do not bother with Nados or anyother grilled chicken joint in Slough... trust me it is just not worth it. The smokeyness, the tangyness of the lemon, the salty herby seasoning is just spot on, make sure you ask the grill master to add extra lemon and herb sauce in the bag.

I buy 2 whole chickens and keep one in the bag for sandwhiches throughout the week.

I see alot of people giving 1 star reviews because the order was wrong, i have never got a "wrong order" nor has my food been cold, i advise you to check before leaving the store.

For those of you arriving home or getting a delivery to your home, you have to realise that the food will go down in temperature as soon as it leaves the grill, it a the simple law of thermodynamics and induction that anything hot will become cold once the heat source is removed... TOP TIP!!! Chuck it in the mocrowave...

Worse customer service ever. I made a phone order today 27/09 at 20:06 served by lady staff. explained the girl in Urdu as she was having hard time understanding me to make sure she takes down the right order. I specially said I want the burgers xtra hot with chilli sauce in it. But after driving all the way back home to Langley, the burgers were as normal. When I called in to complain, she started arguing with me and said there is chilli sauce in the burgers. When I requested to speak to the manager she said there is no manager today and I clearly saw one when I came to pick up the food, I requested to speak to someone else as she was rude, she said no one else to speak to, I asked her her name and she refused, saying I can’t give you my name. I payed £12.50 for 1 half pounder meal and one half pounder burger on its own but being a loyal customer for 7-8 years and regular weekly customer, the way I was treated today was very very disappointing. I will not come myself and I will make sure my family don’t give you business either. It’s a shame that over £12.50, you have lost...
