Our first visit, which was for lunch with my parents and we were extremely impressed. The place was immaculate, staff very friendly and welcoming. Food was well cooked and presented. A steady flow of people arrived during our visit. There was four of us on this visit and we had jacket potato with tuna, winter vegetable soup and blue cheese with bacon beefburgers. The staff seemed willing to assist with any diet requests, as some other customers ordered drinks with different milk types such as coconut milk and this was not a problem. After lunch we treated ourselves to their tempting cakes and again we were very impressed. As it was January and a bit chilly we ate indoors, but in the milder months there is extensive outside eating/garden area available with views directly onto the canal. Absolutely fabulous V2 Sunday March 17th 2019 Seven of us went for lunch . We had Jacket Potatoes, Paninis and a Burger all with various fillings this was followed by Cake, Scones and Cookies all washed down by Great Coffee, normal and decaff Tea and soft drinks including the new Cinnamon Coke. We had a great time and the staff were very attentive even though the place was full to the brim and serving people outside (Blankets provided it was March). Five of us popped in for lunch yesterday. Three of us had a panini and two tuna mayo jacket potato. We weren't really happy with the food. Jacket potatoes were microwaved as they didn't look or taste baked and the panini didn't have any flavour. The lady who served us was friendly enough but the lady who bought our food to us struggled to put on a smile. Waste of money and wish we had gone to bees tea rooms just a little further on as they are lovely in there and the food is fantastic quality. I don't usually moan but this was a total...
