Food For Thought — Restaurant in South Hams

Bought a takeaway coffee which leaked from the seam on the side onto my light coloured jacket. Went back and was offered a "free" coffee, I still had coffee in the cup. Instead of offering a refund or a free coffee next time I was to be grateful she replaced it with another coffee. Jacket ruined due to poor quality cup and this their reaction. Very poor customer service. Makes you wonder how quality checked all the goods are including their food. Will not buy from them...

Vegan sausage rolls were very tasty, had two of them and enjoyed it a lot. Noticed that a sandwich we got had a bit of mold on but we understand these things happen so we took it back in and the lady was very apologetic and replaced the sandwich. She informed other staff to keep an eye out for any more mold. We then got some ice creams which she didn't let us pay for because of the inconvenience. Such a lovely lady, will definitely be coming back next time...

I have been a customer for many years and always rated their pies as the best . However, I won't waste my money again. I ordered two steak and ale pies. I got two burnt, dry, inedible pies. The pastry rock hard. The filling dry and hard in places. Also, they had carrots and mushroom and maybe kidney. Not what I ordered and not very nice. The dog enjoyed them. On a positive note, staff are lovely, friendly, welcoming...
