After looking up and down the town for Cornish pasty’s we landed at Fullers Bakery. The wide selection and claim for awards drew us in! A wide selection of pastries, the pasty’s are the main draw. But, be quick. The selection was bare and we ended up with only the classic medium Cornish Steak pasty (just what we were after). There is also a large selection of, pretty much only, flapjacks and they looked delicious - actually regretting the fact I didn’t get one! The cafe was busy and the queue was getting longer and longer out the door while I waited. Overall: Pasty was excellent and hot. They must pump them out the oven non stop. Delicious. Alternatives: They seem to do vegetarian and vegan pasty’s also. Range of coffee and teas. Sandwiches, Wraps, Baguette’s, Soups and Jacket Potatoes. Note: Takeaway is cheaper than sitting in.

Previously named The Ole Bakery it has had a refurbishment and is lovely & cosy inside. Perfect for having some lunch after a walk or getting away from the wet weather. I support a girl with Autism, she loves it here & feels it is calm enough for her to enjoy her lunch. Eat here on a regular basis. Accessible disabled toilet at the back.

Yesterday I enquired about fruit scones as none on display to be told oh yes they are out the back! After I paid £5.00 for 2 !! I enquired are they homemade? to be told by the owner no we get them in from a bakery! On returning to our holiday home we found the scones to be hard as rocks and not fresh! Extremely disappointed straight in the bin. Today I purchased some rolls, and thought I would mention scones and they would be interested but both the owners were in complete denial! A word to the owners, I feel as a tourist to your town and ime sure you rely on tourists to survive. May I suggest next time this happens you immediately refund the customer and apologise ! You then offered me fresh! Scones or cheese ones made on premises I declined and found an alternative bakery. Might I also suggest you try the scones for yourselves. This review is how I feel about your bakery, such a shame so...

Went to this bakery today with my wife and 4 year old son. We ordered coffee and a cake to have in and a sausage roll. Long wait between the bun and coffee despite being ordered at the same time. Whilst trying to enjoy time with my family a blonde haired lady with spectacles stormed over and said I couldn't eat the sausage roll I paid for in the bag and demanded I stopped eating it. This was done in front of a crowd. I was incredibly embarrassed and made to feel like a child. I have a respected profession and don't expect to be treated in such a way. Will spend my money elsewhere in future. Poor experience and...
