Produce has always been good but OMG some of the young staff need to learn how to engage with customers. They need some training with regards to customer service. Although quite sparce inside, the baked goods from their shops both here and in Kingsbridge are so tasty, you’ll be back for more (we were numerous times !). The pastries melt in your mouth and reminded me of a French patisserie. The pasties are packed full of peppered beef, potatoes, carrots and onions and the pastry is so flaky and moreish. We had awful pasties from here today. The beef pastie is just mince and packed with Swede, potato or parsnip. I could not get rid of the taste for hours.
