A beautiful area that is unfortunately ruined by the amount of racist locals there. As a second generation immigrant I know racism when I see it and itās just a joke that people like this still exist. Once you step outside of diverse areas like London it really comes home that despite integrating and being born here that youāre still treated like an outsider. My 8 year old daughter commented that she almost felt scared at the looks that some people were giving her. Thats coming from an eight year old. Itās such a shame that some people still cannot see past the colour of someoneās skin. Itās more than a shame itās disgusting. I wonāt be coming here again. Not that they will mind but still. Ignorant people with pathetically...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis Harbour is in a very picturesque setting in the lovely coastal town of Salcombe...It is a great place just to sit and watch all the little boats going in and out of the Harbour you can also see the ferry going across to the other side full with passengers each way there is just so much going on...The Town itself has plenty to offer in the way of shops and cafes etc...If you can find a parking space we were very lucky to get one on our visit....itās a great little seaside town to look...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIt's a bit of a nightmare to get to, but it's well worth it because it's a beautiful spot and feels really traditional. Lots of great places to eat, shop and meander. Stunning views. Gets busy in the summer (go early for parking) and be careful on the narrow and winding roads - they really are quite scary in places. Also expect to pay "somewhere fancy" prices pretty much everywhere. We have been here for a few day trips but the central hotels (which we've been in for food)...
