Tried their new festive menu on my last visit (02/11/2023). The Deli Turkey Feast Focaccia was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it, but the Panettone Latte, though very aromatic and quite festive, leaned a bit too sweet for my tastes! I'll go back to my usual (Luxury Caramelatte) on my next visit.
Despite the long queues outside the door, don't be deterred; the queue always moves swiftly, and the service is impressively fast. The baristas are not only speedy but also knowledgeable and friendly. The interior is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. I would know, I'm here twice a week :)
I'd also highly recommend using the Caffè Nero app for payment, especially if you have a linked Waitrose card, for a discount on their festive range. Remember to bring your own cup for an extra stamp, and if you're a Three network customer, check out the Three+ app for a free drink code every week that can be redeemed for any hot or cold drink.
Caffè Nero is a fantastic coffee shop, and I highly recommend it.

Read moreVery poor experience on Christmas Eve, pop in for coffee and cake (both deliciuse) 2h before closing time. Over half of place already cleaned up, chairs on the table, wet floor. Young chubby lad was serving, 2 other ladies (blond and dark short hair) wandering around apparently cleaning. I got my coffee sit in corner, but first I need to clean table by myself. Few of friends or family come to see 1 of the waiting staff so they sit and chat when the wave of clients come into shop. The did not help to serve them, they did not clear anymore space for those clients, they just sit and chat even tho it still was 1.5h hour to closing time. I felt unwelcome and finish my coffee asap, to make a space for mum with hungry child. I think I won't go back there. Coffee was very good but customer experience very...
Read moreAll these places are essentially the same. They are bound together by all selling the same coffee, at overinflated prices, under the cache of faux exclusivity. Nero is no different. What else binds them is the inability to produce a coffee without deafening the customers. Here, conversation within the building is extremely hard. Not only do you have to fight to work out what another is saying, but because everyone else is in the same boat, everyone else is shouting to be heard, making it all ludicrously competitive. If you want a chat go somewhere else. If all you want to do is pose with a laptop & be the subject of ridicule, then this is the place for you. King's Lynn has in total nearly 80 venues where coffee or tea may be had, all great quality. Some of them allow you to converse. Try...
